Caring for your Dyckia

Pot: Dyckia species and cultivars are well suited to containers. Growing them in containers. Planted out in the garden the plants thrive and will grow faster in a shorter space of time.

Soil: The plants are willing and adapt to various soils types, however it is important that a well drained soil mix is used.

Light: The brighter the light the more colourful and compact your plant. Dyckias will grow in semi-shaded positions, however they prefer bright and sunny positions.

Water: Despite being able to survive lengthy severe droughts, the plants grow happily with a weekly watering in Summer.
