Haworthiopsis 'Malachite'
 
One of our own beautiful hybrids involving H. koelmaniorum. Almost black colouration in summer and dark green in the cooler months.

Caring for your Haworthiopsis 
 
Pot: Haworthiopsis is well suited to cultivation in containers. Some species are also very well suited to a protected spot in the rockery in frost free areas.
 
Soil: The plants prefer a well-drained soil, a mixture of sandy soil with some organic matter.
 
Light: The brighter the light the more colourful your plant. However they prefer sunny conditions, they also do well in shadier positions.
 
Water: Let your plants soil dry out for a few days between watering. Rather underwater than over-water to avoid root-loss. Cut back on watering during the coldest and warmest months of the year.
