Pachysedum 'Ganzhou'
What a showy, slow-growing plant. The origin of this hybrid is unknown, the parentage too. It is said to be a possible hybrid between Pachyphytum viride (?) x Sedum craigii (?), however, it is unlikely that these parents would have resulted in such a compact and beautiful pink plant. Nevertheless, this cultivar is exceptionally beautiful with its pink colouration.
Plant size: Well established plants, grown in 7 cm pots are offered. The first photo is of the plants for sale. The last two photos is of the same cultivar in different conditions.
About Pachysedum
Caring for your Pachysedum
Pot: Pachyphysedum does very well in containers or in the garden or rockery. They also do well in mixed planted containers.
Soil: The plants are very willing and can adapt to most soils, a well-drained growing medium with some organic matter works best.
Light: The brighter the light, the more colorful your plant will be. Although Pachysedum will grow indoors, they prefer bright light conditions and should be kept close to a bright window.
Water: Pachysedum are drought hardy plants when well established, but they will grow their best with weekly watering, depending on your growing conditions.
