Dolomite, a type of limestone, is an anhydrous carbonate mineral composed of calcium and magnesium carbonate.
From the world renowned, multi-ore Tsumeb mine in Namibia. The mine was closed down in 1996, bringing to an end of an era of being one of the best specimen-producing mines in the world. Specimens from this locality are highly collectable and has also produced some of the best specimens. The mine is also known for being one of the richest in mineral species of which many new species has been described from here.
