A lovely variegated variety of Cotyledon orbiculata, one of the narrow leaved forms, white and grey leaves with a pinkish-red edge.

About Cotyledon
Cotyledon is a small sized genus of easy-growing succulent shrub-like plants, ranging from small compact sprawling species to larger shrubs. The leaves vary from smooth, covered with a powdery substance, sticky to being covered in hairs. The species in South African is commonly referred to as "Varkoor Plakkies" in Afrikaans. It is a widespread genus, found in South Africa. The variability in the genus presents an array of plant forms, sizes, leaf shapes, colours and textures. This spectrum of features makes them excellent plants for container gardening, the rockery or used in larger landscapes.
Caring for your Cotyledon
- Pot: Cotyledon plants does very well in containers, most species also does very well in the garden and rockery. Other species like C. pendens are excellent hanging basket plants.
- Soil: The plants are very willing and can adapt to most soils, however it is important that the the soil is well-drained.
- Light: The brighter the light the more colourful and compact your plant will be. Although some Cotyledon can grow indoors, bright or direct sunlight is required for optimal growth.
- Water: The plants prefer watering every week or two, but well established plants can tolerate prolonged droughts.
