Sedeveria 'Fanfare' Crested
A lovely easy-growing cultivar of Sedeveria. This is a long known hybrid of unknown parentage that originated from Mexico. It is a beautiful spreading cultivar, the plants has many, narrow-leaved rosettes of grey green leaves. Offered here is a crested form of this cultivar.

About Sedeveria
Sedeveria is a hybrid genus that was established to describe the beautiful intergenic hybrids between Sedum and Echeveria. The genus was described in 1953 to accommodate the old horticultural hybrid now known as Sedeveria x hummelii. Due the variability of both genera, the hybrids between these, they are extremely variable, ranging from plants similar in appearance to some Sedum species and others like those of Echeveria. These intergenic hybrids between members of the Crassulaceae family has brought to light, some very exciting new hybrids into the horticultural world.
Caring for your Sedeveria
- Pot: Sedeveria varieties does well in containers or planted in the garden or rockery.
- Soil: The plants are very willing and can adapt to most soils, a well-drained growing medium with organic matter works best.
- Light: The brighter the light the more colourful and compact your plant will be. Most Sedeveria can tolerate some shade.
- Water: Sedeveria can be drought tolerant when well established, but they will grow their best with weekly watering or every second week, depending on your conditions and the species.
