Snowflake Obsidian - Gemstone Gravel
These shiny black stones are natural occurring volcanic glass. Obsidian is formed when molten rock in the form of lava, rapidly cools down allowing minimal growth of crystals. The snowflake-like patterns are created by small inclusions of Cristobalite, consisting of microscopic white crystals. Also known as (Flowering or Spherulitic Obsidian)
