One of the beautiful miniature Vriesea species, attractive lime green rosettes with distinct black leaf bases. Very exotic looking flowers.
 
Plant Size: We offer well established plants grown in 10 cm pots.
 
Caring for your Vriesea
 
Pot: Most Vriesea are best suited to cultivation in containers. They also do well mounted in frost-free areas with higher humidity.
 
Soil: The plants prefer a very well-drained medium, a mixture of potting soil and bark pieces is ideal.
 
Light: The brighter the light, the more colourful and compact your plant will be. However they need to be protected form harsh direct sunlight. They prefer growing in dappled shade.
 
Water: Let your plants' soil dry out for a few days between watering. Rather underwater than over-water to avoid root loss. Cut back on watering during the coldest and warmest months of the year.
