Very interesting and unusual Quartz specimen, mostly Hematoid Quartz crystal clusters covered in many shiny fine Hematite crystals. This specimens also have clear Quartz crystals growing from these unusual clusters. These specimens are not found often.
 
The Orange River, bordering South Africa and Namibia, is a desert region that is world-renowned for its exceptional quartz specimens often associated with hematite and often with red coatings or phantoms.
