A beautiful specimen of this rare mineral from the DRC. This is a high-quality specimen, with many crystals covering the matrix. There were not many of these, ant havent seen any new material come from there.

Hemimorphite was first found in Romania and named in 1853 by Adolph Kenngott in allusion to the hemimorphic morphology of the crystals. The crystal formations are variable as well as the colour that can range from blue to these pearly crystalline forms from West Africa.
