A very beautiful Calcite specimen with two generations which formed the unique tower/pagoda formation. An initial crystal with secondary Calcite that partially covered the initial Calcite growth. There is also a red hematite coating on the initial growth and included in the second generation growth. A really exceptional specimen which displays beautifully on the stand included.
 
Calcite is a carbonate mineral and a polymorph of Aragonite. It is extremely variable in colour, ranging from clear, white, yellow, orange, blue, pink, red, brown, green, black and grey.
