A beautiful display specimen of this showy clear Calcite cluster from the world-renowned Wenshan Mine in China. Part of the the cluster has a contrasting yellow colouration due to the presence of Limonite.
 
Calcite is a carbonate mineral and a polymorph of Aragonite. It is extremely variable in colour, ranging from clear, white, yellow, orange, blue, pink, red, brown, green, black and grey.
