Cotyledon tomentosa 'Dragon Toes'
Origin: Eastern Cape, South Africa
A beautiful selected clone of the popular Cotyledon tomentosa, This variety has longer leaves with three tips that looks like dragon toes. The plants produce light orange flowers when well-established.
Plant size: Well established plants, grown in 7 cm pots are offered. The photo is of the plants for sale.
Caring for your Cotyledon
- Pot: Cotyledon plants does very well in containers, most species also does very well in the garden and rockery. Other species like C. pendens are excellent hanging basket plants.
- Soil: The plants are very willing and can adapt to most soils, however it is important that the the soil is well-drained.
- Light: The brighter the light the more colourful and compact your plant will be. Although some Cotyledon can grow indoors, bright or direct sunlight is required for optimal growth.
- Water: The plants prefer watering every week or two, but well established plants can tolerate prolonged droughts.
