Golden Sheen Obsidian

This shiny black stone is natural occurring volcanic glass. Obsidian is formed when molten rock in the form of lava, rapidly cools down allowing minimal growth of crystals.  The golden sheen is due to to minute gas bubbles which got trapped inside during the cooling process.
