Flower Agate

Size: 55 mm diamter x 13 mm thick, 80 grams
 
These particularly interesting and beautiful stones are of a relatively new find from Madagascar. It is an Agate (var. Chalcedony) that ranges from milky to clear with a light pink to apricot colour and unusual white, 3 dimensional flower (Coral) patterns penetrating through the translucent areas. The white flower-patterns are said to be coral fossilised in Agate.
 
Offered here is a beautiful polished round disc, displaying some amazing water-lines features along with the white coral-like inclusions.
