This exquisite and rare stone is only known from a few sites in Madagascar. It is variously coloured and often multi-coloured, some with attractive orbicular patterns. Also known as Orbicular Jasper, but this very special stone from Madagascar is so variable that it does not even seem possible.
 
One of the best Jaspers, in fact a mixture of Agate, Chalcedony, Jasper and occasionally vugs filled with Quartz crystal druse.

This is a beautifully polished slice with many blueish-grey orbs.
