A very exciting recent discovery, Quartz crystals with petroleum inclusions from Madagascar. The petroleum inclusions are highly reactive under UV light. These fascinating crystals was given the name Firefly Quartz and featured at the 2026 Tucson Gem and Mineral Show.
 
These inclusion fluoresces under both, Short and Long wave ultraviolet light.
 
A beautiful and interesting specimen, that displays beautifully on the acrylic stand included.
