Grape Agate
Origin: Mamuju Regency, West Sulawezi Province, Indonesia
Size: 67 mm x 68 mm
Even though called Agate, this beautiful stone is a botryoidal Chalcedony. It was discovered in 2014 and was named for its appearance to clusters of grapes.
This is an exceptional specimen from newer material found with larger crystalline structure. There is an unknown Calcium Carbonate mineral that formed as well.
